Wagon flies
- Poetry of Fan Chengda

《车遥遥篇》

English Rendering

Wagon flies,horse runs,

you ride the autumn to go the east of Eden.

May i will be stars and you'll be the moon,

every night we shared the shine of the happiness.

Moon will wane, but not the stars

I'll always wait for your full beauty day by day.

Reader's Companion

The Essence of the Verse

Classical Chinese poetry thrives on Concision and Ambiguity. Without tense or number, the words create a timeless space where the reader becomes the co-creator of the poem's meaning.

Reading Between the Lines

Look for Contrasts: light and shadow, movement and stillness. Don't just translate the words; feel the Yijing (artistic conception) that lingers long after the last character.
