Jin Changzu, 金昌绪, Chinese poet (dates unknown) of the Tang dynasty. Absolutely nothing is known about Jin Changzu other than that he was born in Hangzhou, and he contributed one poem to the Anthology of 300 Tang Poems. The title of the poem is ‘Spring Complaint’ or ‘Spring Sigh’. The original Chinese is 春怨 Chūn Yuàn. It is a lovely four line poem about a wife dreaming of joining her husband on China’s border area in Liaoxi. But her dream is interrupted by an oriole singing outside her window.
