Pan Lang

Pan Lang 潘閬 (d.1009) , Courtesy name Xiaoyao 逍遙 (literally, ‘carefree’), was a recluse poet in the early Song dynasty known for his uninhibitedness. He acquainted himself with his contemporaries like Lin Bu 林逋 (967–1028) and Kou Zhun 寇準 (961–1023), with whom he would go on excursions and write poetry. Throughout his life he had always been on the road, avoiding arrest in his early days and travelling around China in his twilight years.
